Thank you for helping us to preserve the monastic character of our life by wearing modest attire during your visit, especially while in the Church of the Transfiguration.
Enclosure
Wednesdays the Community of Jesus observes monastic enclosure. The Church of the Transfiguration and Priory Books & Gifts are closed. Thank you for respecting these times of quiet.
The Community also observes a few extended periods of enclosure through the year, during which we are closed to the public. Please be sure to check the website for possible changes in the schedule.
Church Tours
Tours of the Church of the Transfiguration are postponed until the Fall. We welcome you to daily worship services, events, and to enjoy Priory Books & Gifts, where you will find flyers & rack cards for the Fall & Winter Events and Community monthly retreats, Gregorian Chant retreats, listings for worship service times, and extensive brochures about the Church of the Transfiguration and the Organ. The Community is CLOSED on Wednesdays and there will be no services. Please check back for updated tour dates.

MAP/DIRECTIONS
Directions From points West:
Heading East, follow the Mid-Cape Highway (Route 6), and take Exit 89 (old exit 12). Take a right off the ramp. Go through the first set of lights. At the second set of lights (Mobil gas station on your right, CVS on your left) turn left onto Main Street. Main Street becomes Rock Harbor Road. Continue going straight until you reach the Stop sign at Rock Harbor – “Town Landing” sign, Young’s Fish Market and Cap’t Cass Restaurant will be in front of you. Take a left, and you will see a wide green lawn with event signs on your left. Take another immediate left into the gravel driveway.
From Provincetown and points East:
Follow Route 6A West until you come to the Eastham/Orleans rotary. Take the first right off the rotary, and turn left onto Rock Harbor Road. When you reach Rock Harbor (Capt’n Cass Restaurant on your right) continue toward the harbor. You will see a large green lawn with event signs on your left. Take an immediate left into the gravel driveway.
